The NCC includes the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA) and is referred to as the building regulation in all States and Territories.
The NCC is divided into three volumes:
- Volume 1 – Building Code of Australia (BCA) (Class 2 to 9 buildings)
- Volume 2 – Building Code of Australia (BCA) (Class 1 and 10 buildings)
- Volume 3 – Plumbing Code of Australia
