National Skills Week now in its fourth year, brings to life positive messages to highlight the talents, the skills, the career pathways and the value of apprentices and trainees across Australia to the wider public and employers.

The week is dedicated to raising the status of practical and vocational learning.  The theme this year is The Magical Mystery Tour of Skills.

Easter vacation opening hours at LID and CHU Libraries

Congratulations Muzammal!!

Congratulations to Muzammal Basharat who won a CSE position from Cisco. A great step in his Support Engineer career!!!

Muzammal studied Advanced Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering at Lidcombe in 2013.  He was selected out of 17 candidates who were from other TAFEs and Universities, for a position called CSE (Customer Support Engineer). Usually this position is only allocated to Academy students.  Muzammal secured the job and he started on 10-Feb-14.

EVERYONE BELONGS -- Harmony Day 2014

The message of Harmony Day is Everyone Belongs.  It is a day to celebrate Australia’s diversity and a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world. 

There are many activities to be held at Lidcombe and Chullora campus on 18-March-14 and 19-March-14 respectively.  Come to join us to celebrate this special day for you!
